IXL is a math cite that allows students from Pre-k to Highschool courses practice answers questions pertaining to curtain lessons included in there curriculum. This cite however is not free and does require the teacher to pay a membership fee in order to grant there students access.  Ease of Use 9-10.     When IXL has been used in my previous classes it has been fairly simple to use. Often times we would join the teachers class in IXL in class together so we knew how to access it on our own, and from there they would assign the different lesson numbers as homework. The only reason I do not rate IXL as a ten out of ten is because of how it grades assignments. Students are tasked with answering so many questions that they fill a meter at the top of the screen.   https://www.zoom.com         Blog #3 Zoom.      This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT T3PP Slide 3, Zoom. Zoom is an app that allows group video meetings, a live chat option, and breakout rooms to manage communications in a group.  Ease of Use. 7-10.      I rank Zooms ease of use at a 7 out of 10. I find once you are in a meeting, hosting or attending, things go smoothing from then on, but while trying to launch a meeting or enter into one things are tricky. I have had links to meetings not work, active zoom sessions say they are expired, and people simply being unable to connect to the group. I have used other apps in the past for group video meets that have had less difficulties.  Versatility. 8-10.     I rank Zoom as a 8 out of 10 in versatility, with the two points docked for when it has issues.  This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT T3PP Slide 5, Class Dojo.      Class Dojo is a platform that allows teachers to give points there students online and track the points given. These points can then be cashed in for prizes offered by the teacher.  https://teach.classdojo.com/#/login?redirect=%2Flaunchpad     Ease of use: 5/10 I found the set up of class dojo to be rather challenging. It was not very intuitive with how to navigate it and seems to provide only positive feed back to students. It can give points to students but I cant seem to find away to remove points.      Versatility : 3/10 Class Dojo does allow you to always add new students to a class but that is the only big change I can see it accounting for.  Overall likelihood of using it : 2/10  I do like the concept behind class dojo and think there are good ways to use it, but I do not see using it in my own class. It provides teachers a stream lined processes in creating multiple choice questions that they can assign to one of Gimkits multiple game formats to test their students with. With 31 different game options students in the classroom can stay engaged with the questions being asked and motivated to study hard to get them right and progress in their favorite game options.      Ease of use: 7/10     After you make a free account with Gimkit you can navigate to the "Kits" tab that has the option to make a new Gimkit.
