Blog #2
This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT T3PP Slide 5, Class Dojo.
Class Dojo is a platform that allows teachers to give points there students online and track the points given. These points can then be cashed in for prizes offered by the teacher.

Ease of use: 5/10
I found the set up of class dojo to be rather challenging. It was not very intuitive with how to navigate it and seems to provide only positive feed back to students. It can give points to students but I cant seem to find away to remove points.
Versatility : 3/10
Class Dojo does allow you to always add new students to a class but that is the only big change I can see it accounting for.
Overall likelihood of using it : 2/10
I do like the concept behind class dojo and think there are good ways to use it, but I do not see using it in my own class. Instead I could keep track of points in a different way and be able to account for the taking away of points to students. This display also seems to allow other students to know how many points other students have in comparison to themselves and it maybe better for them not to have that comparison and instead strive to improve themselves instead of worrying about others scores.
It's important that in the sea of potential technologies that we could use in the classroom, we figure out which ones to avoid. I think that you raise interesting concerns about the site, namely that it only provides positive feedback, which is important, but isn't always the most helpful. Great post!
